Arriva Italia hosts in Brescia, as second and last stop after Trieste, Caetano H2.City Gold, the hydrogen bus developed by the Portuguese CaetanoBus in collaboration with Toyota.

CaetanoBus, part of the Toyota group, is the most important manufacturer of buses and coaches in Portugal, and uses technology, innovation and design to conceive and offer increasingly efficient and zero-emission vehicles on the market, so much so that it is already in the electric transport market since the 1980s. This tour marks the first appearance of CaetanoBus’s hydrogen buses in Italy, a market considered strategic for the sector.

The bus was presented during an event held in the Arriva Italia depot during which the operation of the vehicle, the mechanisms and the characteristics of hydrogen as fuel was shown, and it was possible to carry out a test drive in the city streets. The Caetano H2.City Gold, equipped with Toyota Fuel Cell and co-branded with Toyota since last year, is a 12-meter city bus and offers a range of 400km, being able to match the range of conventional diesel buses. in a single charge. The vehicle has unprecedented environmental benefits, as all it emits is water vapor and it is 100% emission-free.
